Nando has been speaking at conferences in North America since 1992 and at selected conferences in Europe and is highly recommended as a speaker by many companies worldwide including Hewlett Packard, Merrill Lynch CBS and IBM. Appearing at the Advantage Conference is a rare opportunity for a British audience to hear him speak.

During his conference speeches Nando focuses on his experiences after the plane crash where survivors of the flight to Chile, on which he was travelling, were left stranded in the Cordillera de Los Andes for 72 days. They were rescued after Nando Parrado walked across the mountains for 10 days suffering from fatigue, hunger and enduring night-time temperatures of below 30 degrees to eventually find a shepherd who raised the alarm and saved the remaining survivors.

Following the plane crash Nando became a successful businessman and is now the CEO of six companies. He believes his success and confidence are a result of his life-changing experience. Nando Parrado is renowned as being inspirational in his public speaking where he focuses on teamwork, leadership, motivation, change, planning and strategy, and handling crisis.
